Sweeet. I'm using the 4a14 Imp Blue w/ White & Pink inserts. It's good to see those colors look so pretty IRL. Congrats...AGAIN...on more chips...AGAIN

Sweet. I didn't know they sold them blank. Can you get any edge spots without a hotstamp or inlay?

Here are few threads to read up on BCC: BCC NCV chips | How BCC takes care of a bad order | Warped BCC chips

Ask BCC: Why does it take 6-8 months when you promised 4-5 weeks? How come you didn't look at the chips before you sent them out? Why does it take 6+ months for BCC to make good on a bad order after waiting 6-8 months in the first place?

Not sure, these are hourglass 614 blanks and I also made a-mold blank 614's all for stamping.
When I got the OK to do these I offered it as a group buy but no one was interested so I just went solo.
Not a bad deal with the Jan discount and before the increase.

How do these Hourglasses feel? I still haven't heard a real solid HG review but I'm gettin my customs on them anyways I'd love to hear how these feel compared to the HH/AMold/etc

How much do they cost without inlays? Those are really nice looking, love your color choices.

personally, I like the feel of the A's over the HG's.
A little better heft and sound. A little less brittle/scratchy feeling too (though that may have been due to different color choices)
These were for a concept and had to be HG's though.
Still, I'm sure they will work out fine with a lttle wear.
Have not worn in any HG's yet, but give me some time...

Will post some scans and mock stamp overlays next. Stay tuned.

Re: more popin 614 mania (warning mucho pics)

From all of the CT pics (and Chip Factory) of the HG mold I was worried it had too much texture in the cross-hatching. It just looked a little too "rough" or unfinished to me and was never an option for me.

Then I received an HG sample and compared it to the A-mold and Horsehead, and the texture is almost identical. Emptypocs said the A-mold has a little more "heft" to it; since the HG has a noticably deeper recess than the A-mold and thus uses less material, that's probably true.

After seeing/handling the HG in person, I've changed my mind and would definitely consider it for a custom set.
