DMPC custom labeled Progen set

Here is the final product of a couple month worth of planning and working w/ machinelf on label desing, hogwild on printing and my wife helping label this set of 1000 Progens.

I've been organizing a poker game in Des Moines Iowa for a number of years now and since finding chiptalk.net have finally gotten my first set of custom chips. The labeling was about 100 chips per hour with help from my wife. 10 hours total, some hand cramping and almost getting blisters but now they are done. I'm really happy with the way the design turned out .

Thanks again to machinelf and hogwild for the design and printing of these labels. Enjoy the pics.

Progens are a fake clay chip. However, I have a sample set of Paulson top hat & cane chips(real clay) and I think that the look, feel and sound of the Progens is very similar. They are the same weight as clay paulsons, 10g and when you drop a chip onto another they make a clack sound, unlike your standard 11.5g composite chips that make a highter pitched clink. The stacking ability and texture is also very good, far superior to slippery 11.5g chips.

The nice thing w/ Progens is that you can get a set of them w/ customized labels for almost 1/3 of what paulsons cost.

Order some samples of Progens and get some real clay chips to compare also.

They look great! I'm glad you like the ProGens. I'm (almost) definately going with them too. Just contacted Jason about starting a set.

Re: DMPC custom labeled Progen set

The more pics I see of these chips labeled, the more I get sold on them. At first I wasn't a fan basically because of the colors and the thought of them being a paulson knockoff. I personally never cared for the paulsons with the same color scheme. However, seeing pics of them labeled and especially your $25's and $100's it definitly has my opinion turned around. I guess it goes to show how much a label can influence a chip. Nice work and good looking set.
