Well I am proud to announce that I have sealed the deal with Joe from Palmimports and soon I hope to own 525 of the new Hybrid Ceramic chips!!

Now before anyone gets too bent out of shape about the $3.50 chip you have to understand that during a cash game one evening we happened to catch the South Park episode where Chef's parents obsessed over the Loch Ness monster and how it repeatedly hounded them for "Tree-fiddy". Since then this has been a common bluff-or-i-got-the-nuts type of bet. Also typically this bet is followed with someone not involved in the hand saying "Don't you give dat monsta no tree-fiddy!" OR "DAMMIT MONSTA!"

Now being the purist that I am I had some issues creating and then purchasing a $3.50 chip: "$2 fine....$3 sure...$8....maybe...$3.50 WTF are you out of your mind???" was my initial reaction, but then one of the guys who pushed to get it said he would pay for them....yep you got it I cracked and now the Thursday night cash game has a TREE-FIDDY chip!

Keep your eyes glued to this thread because I hope to have them soon from Joe!!!

My only question is, if you're going to have a 3.50 chip, why have a 2.50 chip too?

That's a great design and a great story about the three-fiddy. I love that you have that chip.

On a related note, there must be something in the stars because I just placed my order for 700 of the hybrids. I'm pretty stoked.

What was that show or movie where the guy had the idea for all the different kind of money? He was like, "you could have a bill for $5.83, then, if you ever needed change for $5.83, you could pull out the bill and get your change." It was ridiculous...

One of our guys always bets 'two-fiddy' when he's pushing. Like in your case, this has become something of a standing joke and a standard bet. We don't have snappers though.
