Solid Wall "The Alexander" w/PICS

Where they are. Received remakes a few week ago and have been real busy so sorry for the delay in posting.
On the first go around, something happen with the submitted artwork when it was converted and the suits background was missing and the text was real blurry. Joe stepped up, like the man he is, and quickly worked with A5S on a few tweaks to artwork and reprinted all lables. I wish I could say the same about Dave a PCL. Only reply I received from him after pointing out the errors and dissatisfaction with the original order was that I didn't pay the mock-up fee and that I was being too "picky" (a CT member being too picky about his chips ).

These were oiled and dried approx. 1 week ago. Hadn't reopened case until this evening and was a little dissapointed that the chips looked like they've never been oiled. Should I oil again or play away?

And here's a stack of 125 (a little lean but not bad....plus the fact that I never have that many chips in front of me when I play)

They didn't turn out bad. I personally don't like the shiney labels, it does make the text hard to read, especially on the red $.50 chip. Are those vinyl labels?

I think they turned out great! If you think of it, bring along a sample set to Nick's on Friday so I can check them out (drool over them).

Re: Solid Wall "The Alexander" w/PICS

Congrats!

FWIW - I've had a great communication and ordering process with Joe, however Dave has seemed less than friendly/cooperative with any and all of the CT community and seems to be putting a bad rep on Joe's chips...

They are vinyl labels with textured laminate overlay. Supplied by PI. They are really not that shiney, just poor photography.

Re: Solid Wall "The Alexander" w/PICS

They look very nice to me!
I got some labeled PI samples myself and the label do not that "glittery" they do on the pics, they are totally clear.

And I would not oil them again, multiple oiling doesn't have any effect on chips I tried so far.

Re: Solid Wall "The Alexander" w/PICS

Very nice chips! I found that my solid wall chips went back to normal a couple of weeks after oiling. I have just been playing them!
