Re: Valentino Poker Room

Those look quite nice. Anything involving the Venetian theme just looks plain classy. Good job.

Re: Valentino Poker Room

Hi Bernd,

like the general looks of these. The 1 is a bit plain and the 25 and 1,000 seem slightly subdued, while the .5, 2, 5, 100 and 5,000 look fantastic.

It looks like they've applied the edges on the 100 the wrong way??? If you tried lining them up you'd get blue/pink pink/blue instead of blue/blue pink/pink.....

This has only been a testprint to see how the artwork finally looks on the chips. Artwork will be ready for aligned edges, though

The $1 has a slight creme gradient, I wanted to keep it quite simple...

Thanks for the kind words

Re: Valentino Poker Room

If the 1 is actually creme-ish then I think I'll like that one too. It just looks white/red in the photo.

Really looking forward to seeing the lined up version!!! Received a sample set of the WSOPs from SF yesterday and I think lined up is the only way to go, as bleeding issues/faces showing on the edge are quite noticeable on the non-lined up chips.

I'd love to buy a sample set of these when you get them.

Regards,
Michael

That's one problem with "aligned" edgespots. If you flip this chip over, the blue-pink order is correct (assuming the artwork is exactly the same on both sides). If you want "chiral" (asymmetric) edge spots to line up on both sides, you need the face artwork "spots" to go the opposite way on one side as compared to the other (basically, one side will be "left-handed" and the other "right-handed").

I knew there had to be a simple explanation besides "they applied it the wrong way" And you are, of course, correct. It would have to be different graphics for each side for these to come out right.

There are a Front & Backside done for these...

They were just not aligned for this simple test

Re: Valentino Poker Room

They made 2 racks as a "simple test"? What are they going to do with those?
