Thanks for the compliments. As for those of you asking about sample sets, customization, etc., unfortunately I can't give you any answer right now. These are Johnny5's...he just asked me to make up some samples for him to make sure that he was getting the edgespot alignment right.
Thanks,

I'm really happy for Gene that so far he's the only one doing this, but WHY is that?
The samples he's done so far are SO nice. Why in the world aren't others doing it? |

Very cool replica, J5.
The edgespot thing is what always turned me off. Since these are, you know, ALIGNED and everything they are beautiful.

Honestly? It's probably ct.net driving the market. Before, no one cared enough to make it happen. Casino managers certainly don't, the'd rather just have art that didn't need to be aligned.

Chips: 1,170 | | | Re: New WSOP replica chips! (Yes another set, BUT LOOK...) Probably a few reasons...it's definitely not much fun to do, it takes quite a long time, and there's a lot of waste...just to name a few!
Thanks,

Why are you doing this, you must understand that this will break me. Maybe I should just kill my business right now? It was bad enough that Epokerdeals started a group buy for their WSOP replicas 1-2 weeks after I started mine, but this? Wow, why don't you just come here and shoot me in the head.

Matt | Wow, Just have to clear up a few things here since you are now badmouthing us in a public forum and your private one where I can't post...
We have been offering customized replica chips since around April of this year, well before you announced your business start up or your GB. Several Chiptalkers were buying sample sets, etc, and in July (I can find the post and get the exact date if you like) I said that if someone wanted to organize a GB for these, we would be happy to do it. And a user here started a thread about it. In order to make the ordering process easier and more accurate, we offered to have the ordering done right on our website. This, apparantly was in violation of CT GB rules, and some people complained (of course you) and we had to buy a sponsored forum to continue the GB, which we did.
I did not even know you or your group buy existed before you started to post in my forum. If you think we "copied" your GB or somehow you gave us the idea, you are mistaken. If anything, we had been advertising personalized Poker Series chips on CT for many months prior, and you got the idea from us. If you think we are searching chiptalk to see what a very small operation in Sweden, who dropships from China is doing, well, you can think that if you want. Just as an aside, we are offering lined up ceramic edge spots as well . Personally, I think ceramics edges should be independent of the face, but if people want it and want to pay extra for it, we can certainly do it. Pics to follow in our forum.
Matt, you just need to calm down and look at this - you are basing a business on a replica chip! You should concentrate on getting some unique designs and going from there - there is no way you could be mad about ABC or anyone else doing a WSOP replica. This is why our chips are "based on" poker series chips, not exact copies.
I seriously hope you do well in the Euopean Market as I think there is a definite void there.
