Welcome to The Empire Club

My custom ASMs arrived about 10 days ago, but I had to borrow a digital camera to take this shot and accomplish an actual upload of them:

I have a total of 1050 chips, mostly in the range of the 25s through 500s. Ordered 50 each of the 10000 and 50000 to secure future rights. The workhorses (100, 500, 1000) were already put to use this weekend in the Inaugural Reeder Cup Matches No Limit Hold'em Heads Up Tourney.

As I explained in another thread, these more than met my VERY high expectations. Of course I had to wait longer than I would have liked, but nothing beyond ASM's posted schedule from date of approval of artwork. These chips are the product of roughly 4 months of design work, and nearly a year in the conception-to-delivery stage. I couldn't be happier, and would (will?) order ASMs again gleefully.

I welcome any questions, except inquiries for sample sets -- I only got 4 extra chips in each denomination thanks to some picky people here forcing a change in ASM's "extras" policy, and half of those extras were spoken for in promised samples.

Thanks for looking!

Ryan Reed

Re: Welcome to The Empire Club

Nice chips. Please list the color combos for each chip. I remember seeing these way back when. Nice to see an idea come to fruition.

Re: Welcome to The Empire Club

Very nice and congrats. I didn't know they would allow three colors on the 312 black chip you have. Very nice set and agree with you in that PC is a first class casino quality poker chip company.

I'll be posting some hi-res pics for Ryan here momentarily. These things are beautiful.

To my knowledge I am, for the time being, the only person with a 312 featuring alternating colors. Jim did it as a favor to me, and I did pay extra for it, with the agreement that I wouldn't let the cat out of the bag until the chips were done. It's an awesome chip and probably the consensus favorite of my group - - though mine is the pink/black 614 10,000 chip.

As Paris Hilton would say, "that's hot."

Those look great, too bad they didn't work out to be a group buy.

How dare you keep that awesome 312 a secret! You are begging for negative rep!

They are awesome! I loved your inlay back in the design process. They came out great. Get some more pics up ASAP.

Unfortunately that's the only pic I have, and I just took it Saturday night. I'm like one of the last people in North America without a digital camera, so I can't offer many more shots. John (austin5string) has a sample set and is threatening to add some hi-res shots. Sadly, though, there will be no chip porn.

As for the 312 . . . JimB made me keep it a secret. If I didn't, I couldn't have it!
