Chips: 395 | | | Re: Farmer’s Custom Chipco “Welty’s Card Room” Cash Set Thanks for the kind words guys! To answer a couple questions: 99% Evil- Custom Chipcos through hoempokerchips.com will run you .97 each plus a set up fee and/ or artwork charge (for 500-999). The fee depends on what you want done. I didn't want text or anything like that on the edges... Simple is what I was going for there. Johnny5 did my artwork and he actually gets a deal with HPC on the setup fees because he hands them "Print ready work". John even did the "CI" watermark. Usually, HPC charges $200 for custom set up charges, I'll say this... I paid less than that by going through John (including John's design fee). PM me for details and I'll be happy to tell you exactly. Rosencrantz- There are several reasons i went with the $20. It's actually not the rebuy factor as mentioned above, I did consider this as a benefit though. I only play cash games at my house, no tourney's so I don't really have a need for a $25. 3 of my freinds that play at my house regularly are colorblind... 30% of us! shocking... I did it more to differentiate between the denom's. I also did the mirror layout between the .25/$5 & $1/$20 for the same reason. Just a little something planned to be different besides colors. I almost used 4 different clover images but I couldn't find 4 clovers that I liked enough. Chiproll- Thanks on the props for no "mock" edgespots. The last thing I wanted to do was pretend these are clays... they're not. Why hide it? embrace it. Thanks again for the comments guys. It feels nice to contribute back some. |

I could be biased about that part, but I don't think so.

I didn't really notice it at first but now that you mention it you have designed a PERFECT set for low-vision or colorblind players. Even better job than I initially thought.

They look great (if I don't say so myself)! I really love the way these turned out.
I must also say that King of the Farm came to me with a very clear concept and vision (he had certainly done his homework), and was an absolute joy to work with.
I'm really looking forward to seeing these in person!

Serious question, because, not being color blind I can’t tell. |
