Custom Chipco Chips - Tarheel Poker Club ***Arrived***

My order from Dave arrived yesterday. I must say I am ecstatic about my new chips, these things are absolutely gorgeous! Everything I expected and MORE! Dave and his team did an outstanding job and the customer service was above and beyond anything I have ever received from an online order! The order took exactly 46 days from placing the order online to a chip being rolled across my knuckles. In the states you could easity knock off about 7 days. Thanks to Dave and his team for all their hard work and dedication!

The white $1 dollar chip is my favorite, simply becuase it really portrays the colors from the UNC Tarheels. And as luck would have it we have our big monthly tournament this Friday so no more dice chips for us!

Well I know you guys don't care to read my rambling and are here only for the pics...

Oh, and JM your sample set will be in the mail today...

You can find all the pics I took here... Tarheel Poker Club

Now that your customs have arrived, it is time to put those tired dice chips away in the back of the closet. Your buddies will be impressed and your games will be even more enjoyable. Congrads on the great set!

I assume you will fully document your next tournament.

Very nice. IMHO you just can't beat the grapics on Chipcos.

L

Edit: I should change that to "IMO" since it's not really a "humble opinion" .

Sweet! If only they'd allow for the usage of logos, I'd have a UNC chipset by now. Oh well. Go Heels!!!

Awesome chips!

I love the ChipCo's... They're very nice.

Quick question for you... Did they do the design work for you or did you do it all yourself? I saw your mockups and input thread on the other forum but I'm just interested to know the level of input that Homepokerchips' staff had. I am getting ready to place my order but I am wondering if I should pay a 3rd party for design work or leave it to their designers. Either way I have to pay the set up fee. I'm not concerned about the cash, only the quality of work.

Thanks and again, Congrats... great chips!

Dice chips have already been donated to the Morale Welfare and Recreation (MWR) here on base.

I "document" everything now! LOL! Ever since I got my Canon Rebel XT for Christmas last year I am the one carrying around the camera snapping off as many pics as I can. I tend to get distracted easily (when there is a poker game going) but I try to get up and get some pics when I am not invovled in a hand. But yes, you can look forward to seeing my setup for the upcoming tourney and some pics of chip stacks, and pots with a lot of chips in them!

If you have seen my thread of my mock-ups you should have seen what I passed on after all of the suggestions and help I got from CT members to Patrick, who is the artist that did my final artwork. My final artwork that I came up with was passed to him and he had to make his changes as far as matching his color pallette, but other than that there were very small changes made only because of color bleed issues. You should have ZERO worries about the quality of work that Patrick will do for you. Patrick walked me through step by step of problems he noticed in my initial design and took what I wanted and made it work. Everything he did was what I wanted and he never forced anything on me that I did not like. It was an easy and very attention to detail oriented process that really gave me a lot of confidence about what the final product would look like. Top notch professionals!

There did I kiss his buttocks enough?
