Initial impression....THEY ROCK!!!
All the inlays came out textured which I specifically asked for (think Samurai's). Glenda told me there was no control of finish, but somehow they are all textured. (seems some ASM inlays are semi-gloss smooth; e.g. my KeyWest are smooth)
Love the "A" mold, classic.... I have the HorseHead mold in my Palmas set, and H mold in a small set of KeyWest. Each mold has it own unique look, but I just kept going back to the "A" mold samples I has as the one for this set.
All the colors are great, thanks in part to the team effort of picking the initial GB colors. I really like the Lavendar 3D14 DG Yellow/Man Red, but no clear cut favorite out of the bunch. As Viet pointed out on the first chip arrivals, Mandarin Red/DG Pink 614 is so sweet.
I chose a whole range of denominations since we play a number of different buy-ins.
Family fun is usually quarters/half dollars
Regular cash game is $100 buyin NHLE so the $1 and $5 will be used frequently
and our tourneys go all over the map from T1500 to T10,000
I found one mistake. the last 0 (zero) on the $1,000 chip is a drop case about 2 pixels... Strange as it was not like that on approved comp. I will make sure this is fixed when the 4D14 chip is done.
