The Pines - Custom ASM

Well they finally arrived. Worth the wait? You betcha. I am absolutely floored by the quality and beauty of these chips.

Ordered:

200 Gray 214 Lavendar (recieved 225)
300 Chocolate 3D14 Yellow/Mandarin Red (received 330)
300 Orange 6A14 Black/White (recieved 350)
20 Pink 3D14 Red/Green (received 35)
20 Black 4A14 DG Green Imperial Blue (recieved 30)

The Pink and Black chips are already being replaced with the recently available chips from the X12/D14 buy. I've got 80 Pink 4D14 DG Green/Green and 20 DG Yellow 212 Blue on the way. If Quarter Pie ever becomes available that'll be my $100 cheque.

Sorry about the quality of the photos I still haven't got the hang of the wife's camera. I'll keep working at it but these should give you some idea of what's going on.

Very nice! It's refreshing to see a set without the traditional colors on every chip! These and your ceramics came out great, and both look like quality sets.

I'm not sure if I was the only Circle Square, but I'm not aware of any others at this point. Anyone else?

I really wanted something other than the standard color set up. When it's finished the set will be Gray/Chocolate/Orange/Pink/DG Yellow for base colors. Not a chance in hell of it getting confused for anybody else's set.

I have to say I'm really impressed with the quality of the print job on these. The text came out perfect. Unfortunately my camera skills, or lack thereof, don't really show that.

After selling my Paulsons ( owned since 1998 ) and Nextgens, I went from having zero chips (well tons and tons of samples) to 2100+ in about a week. Time to roll around on the floor.

Great looking chips. It must feel wonderful to have two fully custom sets of chips arrive within the same week. I love the look of that chocolate $1 chip. It is unique and quite eye catching.

What does your wife think of the two sets of customs arriving in such a short time span?

This is one of those sets were the cools are so different, that each week you'll have a different favorite---like a good band and favorite albums from their catalog.

That inlay is so sharp. I really like the brown $1 chip, nice spots.

Good job, nice design and congrats.

Also, have the one hundred chips shown already been treated with mineral oil?
