My ASM Horseheads with custom labels

I have finally got my chips labelled from the ASM horsehead group buy way back when. Labels were also purchased through the label group buy.

Wife designed the chip labels. Decided to go with a safari type theme. All text is in Swahili.

Awesome... the design's excellent. I love everything but the 1/2 and I've never been on a safari but a poker one would be cool. Didn't notice the non-denom at first but really like the infinity symbol.

Are these labels or inlays from pc? Definitely worthy of inlays!

These are self labelled. I bought the labels through the label group buy.

What don't you like about the 1/2's?

My Swahili is a bit rusty ... (OK, I admit I don't know a single word of Swahili).

Can you provide a translation?

one= moja
five = tano
half = nasu
Nothing(no value) = dama
Safari Ligu Karata = Safari Card Club

I did not know any swahili before I did these chips either. I did some research into swahili words and grammar and I think i got it right.

It's use as opposed to 50¢... could depend on why you chose to use it though.

I just thought that 1/2 dollar fit a little better, also don't think 50 is one word in Swahili.

I really like the design of the chips! They look great - I really like the black silhoutte against the background that matches the chip.

Any reason for the theme? I've been to Winnepeg, and "safari" isn't the first thing that comes to mind...

Oh, and I'm glad you pointed this out - that the purple was a NV chip. I thought the purple was infinity. I imagined the games like this-

"I raise infinity"
"Oh, yeah, well I raise, infinity times 2"
"Oh, yeah, well....."
