Hmm, I might have something in common with you. Nice labels by the way, I have been thinking of doing the same thing with the 1200 I have. My wife is from ND and my mother in law's name is Pankratz. She lives in the Grand Forks area, but have family all over ND and MN.
Anyway, do you notice if the chips stack differently with the label? I am sure this has been discussed before, but I can't remember the outcome of the discussion.
I've encountered the occasional fellow Pankratz over the years, but no relations to anybody in ND except for immediate family up by Minot. Relatives are in MT and NE.
If I really try hard and compare side-by-side, I can maybe just barely make out a tiny bit of extra wobbliness in stacking. Not nearly enough to be any problem whatsoever. In practice, I think stacks of 20-40 are basically as solid as ever, and they still stack better than my Nexgens and WAY better than my old deluxe diamonds.
Note however that I used the thin poly rippedsheets.com 7/8" labels. The more common (and much cheaper) 1" paper labels are slightly thicker and theoretically could have a greater effect.
I say theoretically because my understanding of the debate was that those thinking there would be a problem with stacking were primarily arguing from assumptions based the non-recessed center. Whereas those who had actually done it, even with 1" paper labels, were completely pleased with the result and did not notice a significant detrimental effect.
I would feel completely comfortable even with paper labels (although the new vinyl labels by Hog Wild cut to 7/8" are probably your best bet now). Even if you do get some small effect, it's never gonna be as bad as the dice/suits/etc. chips, and the personalized look of the chip makes up for it a thousandfold.
is the green chip really that green? it looks day glo almost. i think people in the Black Sands group buy would be jealous. if this is indeed the true color i will have to be picking some up.
They aren't quite a dayglow grren. They are a brighter than most green chips, but the flash must have given them the dayglow look. The color choices used are more appealing the more I look at them. They remind me of the heads up tourney last year.

Nope, sorry, the colors are quite a bit off. For some reason they look really vibrant in the photo whereas in real life they are a bit darker and duller. The green is off by the most, to my eye it's really more of a standard green, maybe a shade toward pine green.
EDIT: The colors of the design mockups in this post are much more representative of the real-life chip colors.
