Big Slick TH w/ custom labels. Discuss Big Slick TH w/ custom labels, on ChipTalk.net the place to go for your Poker chips and gambling tips. Read it in Custom Chip Gallery.
I won a set of the Big Slick TH chips a while back and after finding this site, I was tempted to upgrade the chips to Nexgens but ultimately decided against it. I decided to keep these as the cheap chips and will upgrade to either Chipcos or ASM for a small cash set next year.
The chips are slick but stack well. I have only labeled a few chips so far just to see how they look. I have 1300 chips in total so it will not be a fun process. I printed the labels myself using Corel Draw, Online poly 1" labels, and an Oki 5100 printer.
As far as the design, I went back and forth between many designs but ultimately I just wanted something simple on these and will have a more meaningful (ie family) design on the customs. I figured you can never go wrong with free advertising so I put my companies on the chips.
I have left over label sheets that I will be putting up in the M2M section soon along with a lot of my sample sets in the next week or so if anyone is looking for that.
I guess that would be the other way of saying it. Seriously though, that is one nice classic design that is reminiscent of the casino inlays of old. Great job and they really look great!
BTW, it's a good idea to get rid of those extra labels as soon as you can. If you don't you might be tempted to use another design that you might come up with in the future. (...I'm just giving all of it a second thought ... as in "do I really want to take the labels off of 800 chips?"
