One thing that people should know about faux clays is that applying regular paper labels will detrimentally affect the feel of the chip. The labeled chips do not stack as stablely as those which dont have labels. Also, some of the labeled chips ended up being spinners.
This was true for my case with the paper labels, but perhaps not with rippedsheets labels, which I have heard are thinner.
When I get some cash together I will definately be ordering a set of faux clays. They just look so good with labels.

These look great! You mentioned the feel was adversely affected. How severe would you rate the effect of the labels on the feel and stackability of the chips? Do they just topple over if stacked more than 10 high? Are they now too slippery to shuffle with the labels? How many spinners out of a hundred would you say resulted from labeling? Thanks for the feedback, I'm planning my labeling project now and am deciding between these and the Nexgen. I really like the solid colors of the Faux Clay and of course the price so these are real tempting.
The feel is not extremely affected. Stacks of 20 are slightly less stable, and I can still easily shuffle. For the improvement in appearance, it was still worth it.
It's good to hear that you can still stack 20 high without much effect. I've seen some pictures where the stacks must be about 80-100 high with these chips. Looking to pick these up since the crud we play with now can't go much higher than 7 without spilling everywhere. And when you try to pick up more than 5 from a rack they just explode in your hand. Not quite ready to invest in Paulson/Chipco/NJ's.
Is it just me or do the colors on these show a lot brighter in pictures? I have samples and the reds and greens don't seem as bright as yours. Does cleaning them have any effect? Enjoy your awesome looking chips!
I have not cleaned mine, but they are duller than I expected when I first got them. However, they are still colorful if not bright, and good chips, too. My stacking record with faux clays was 120, then I knocked them over accidentally and didn't try to go any higher.
