my new chips

I know there only faux's but I think they look great. Thanks to Circlencirle for the front label design. The pics suck the fronts say WC's Card Room across the top and Cleveland Ohio on the bottom. The backs have pics from all around cleveland on them. Tried to color cordinate them the best I could. So far I have about 400 labeled front and back out of 1000. It has been a long process trimming the injection marks then coloring them in, printing labels and applying them but I am more than happy with the results.

Cash game setup

Tourney setup

I'm gonna x-post this on 2+2 as there were some people who didn't think these chips would take labels.

Awesome... I think we're going to need better pics!

Love the way the chip wrap on the denom gives some depth and makes the slight color diffs neglible. Looks like the Cleveland pics have a "glass" wrap similar but hard to tell from the pics... hence post some better ones plz... scans if possible.

Nice choice on selecting the clev pics to the base chip color seem to go well together.

A few ?'s...
What labels & size did you use?
Did you print your own labels?
How was typical centering issues in printing with this label?
How well did the label fit... is there a gap that the label was pushed into??

Nice job.

PS... this would make a good article for a more economical custom chip route

1. For labels I used the 1in labels from onlinelabels.com
2. Yes I printed my own labels I don't think I will do that again with a circlular design. After they were all printed I sprayed them with Krylon preserve it matte finish to protect them. I got all info for printing the labels here --> http://www.chiptalk.net/forum/cms_vi...cle.php?aid=19
3. Centering the circular design on the front was very time consuming and a lot of them shifted a little but not enough to really notice but I'm anal retentive about that stuff. The back labels were originally square pics that I just ran over the edge which made it super easy to print.
4. There is a gap to push the label down over the sides. I think it looks good that way as it makes it seem like it's more a part of the chip.

For the article I figured the review of these would count unless you wanted a step by step for the labels. If not I wouldn't mind writing a step by step on every step if people are interested.

The way the cash game setup chips looks a little distorted from resizing. The pics of the fronts and backs is better though

Not bad, I like the denoms sides a lot more than the obverse. Looks good for the economy buyers out there to have a decent custom set for a little scratch.
