Is that process available to home consumers, or just to large specialized orders like that? I thought the flatness of them was actually really nice and would be a nice alternative to think about for custom chips. Though when I first asked about getting chips done like that I was told the pictures of the flat ones were really pictures of copies someone else had made, and that yours did have a mold design. Now that it's clear chips *can* be made that way it would be interesting to know if they *could* be made that way again upon request.

I think it's an American brown bear I got out of clip art.

We would not use the Chesterfield name and logo on a chip. The Chesterfield Club was a made up name for the movie. The real club in New York was called the Mayfair Club I think?
Bummer.

Both for you (since I think you'd sell lots) and for the public (since I think there might be lots of people interested in them.)

But I think it takes a lot of integrity to stand by a deal like that. Some companies might just try to cash in on the subsequent popularity of the movie and go ahead and sell them. I think it says a lot (of good things) about you and your company that you continue to honor their request.

That style of chip is available when the mold is in. Called a seal & crest chip. The mold is not in use at this time.

Does the upcoming Key West chip on the H mold suggest that the H mold will be available for customs soon?

I'm asking because I'm in the early stages of designing a custom set and my last name happens to begin with an H. Just thought it would be s nice touch if it is going to be available.

Ah, that makes sense.

I must have misinterpreted the answer I got, as I took it that there wasn't a way to make to even make a chip without some sort of embossed impression around the face.

I'm not even entirely convinced that I would want chips like that, as I've never handled one. But from the pics I've seen they do look interesting.

I was watching Rounders again the other night and trying to see the chips used in the judges' game. I *think* they are circle/squares but I'm not entirely sure. The frat house game (after Worm gets released from prison) seem like they might be something similar, but I couldn't catch a decent close-up to pause on.

Anyway... it's too bad the Chesterfield chips aren't available, but it's really nice to know the whole story behind them.

Regards,
Allan B.

Re: Custom ASM Roman Mold Teddy KGB's

If anyone has some of these Faux/Replica ASM Rounders chips for sale I would be interested. So I can display them with my real Rounders chips and when everyone asks me... "How do you know they are real" I can point to some replicas

I think your KGBs look great! The Inlay looks spot-on. I think I like yours better than the movie chips!

Here I come ASM!

That is interesting that ASM made/is making these. I ran the short lived GB for the recent attempt at rounders replicas and the answer I got from Glenda was there was no way to even come close to the originals. She wanted us to change A LOT to even use the edge spots and color combos. Clearly that is not the case. I am not a happy camper to see these even though they look good. A whole bunch of time went into trying to get them and we were told no. I guess those who wanted them can get 'em but I know I am not happy about the time that was wasted before
