"Pocket Aces Poker Club" Custom Nevada Jacks

Hello all.. I’ve been a long time member of Scott Keen’s forum and located chiptalk on his forum. Anyway, after about 6 months of debating and trying to decide what to do, I finally bought a set of customs. Thankfully Nevada Jacks started making custom chips!
I like clay but I wanted my chip to have more graphics than a clay inlay would allow, and I was running into other issues with Chipco. Once I saw 2_hotty’s chips and got NJ samples, I knew they were the chip for me.

A note about NevadaJacks – they take care of you. If you have any questions they will answer them. I even got a call the day after my chips arrived to make sure I was satisfied. Pretty amazing. Even more amazing is the turn around time. I submitted my artwork last Wednesday (8/17/05), placed the order Thursday, and had them in my hands the following Thursday (8/25/05)! I requested 2nd Day Air shipping, but without that I was still looking at a 10-12 day turnaround with ground shipping!

Additional notes. – Thanks to forum member 2_hotty and ScottKeen member Robert NuRelic for helping me with the chips. Without them I couldn’t have done it. Robert did all the inlay graphic design, and 2_hotty finalized the chips with edges, text, and color combinations. I really want to thank these guys for a job well done. I’ve seen a lot of people on this site willing to help others out and it’s a refreshing change.

Images – here are some preliminary shots, not the best in the world – I had planned to take more after our Saturday tourney but it never happened:

Very nice, please give a list of your denominations and numbers of each. Also, what type of case is pictured?

They look very nice and I am happy to hear your positive remarks concerning Nevada Jacks as I am eagerly awaiting the American Beauties group buy.

Great looking chips! I'd love to see a scan of them so I can get an idea of how that linen finish affects the graphics and their crispness. I now see why NJ has the marble effect on the rolling edge - the die pimple is quite pronounced. But, nonetheless, a great chip in a great time frame. Looking good!

super dope chips. a scan or higher-rez close up is sorely needed. MUST SEE!

Breakdown of chips:
$5 530
$25 365
$100 165
$500 115
NCV 110

I bought the case at home depot. It's a Husky Case and cost ~$20
I bought cheap plastic chip cases to go inside. This is another idea I stole from 2_hotty. He got his case at Lowe's and it came with foam that he cut out; mine didn't have that foam, but I wasn't near Lowe's; both ways seem to serve the purpose.

I think some guys @ the game fell in love last weekend

--- I will try to post a scan at some point. the "linen finish" in question may affect the graphic a little, but after some playing time the oil from people's hands actually seems to help. I didn't clean every single chip, but the ones that have more playing time definatley look better simply because the manufacturing dust (for lack of a better term) has been rubbed off..
