I voted for color but would probably change the gradient a bit more to distinguish the labels apart a bit more.

I had the exact same thought.

My 2 bits.
I also agree with that.

I, too, thought the gradient was too light.

My first impression was color looked better, the white was just too stark. As I contemplated and looked more, I decided that the text on the white was much easier too see and would be better seen in some of the lower light poker rooms I've been in. So how to get more color on the white background? Have you considered coloring the ape with either the chip or spot color?

I've not voted since in the end I could not make up my mind between the two and so came up with a third option.

I've always liked designs with some element matching either the spots or the body color, so I voted color.

Was curious why you made the bottom edge lettering white on the colored labels. Making the lettering at the bottom dark as well might help with the legibility.

Yes it is easier do read... mabie if I make the white text colored then it might be better. I will color the ape and see how that will come out... thanks for the comment!

I don't know why I hade it white... I guess I wanted the fokus to be more on The Royal Monkey... then I made the background white and had to change the text, I will try making it colored. Thanks!

Thanks all of you
Saemi

I like the colored ones better, if you change the lower text.

Also, I don't really care for the "No Monkey Business" line. I know it's tongue-in-cheek, but seems to me if it's a Royal Monkey casino, it might be better to say "It's All Monkey Business"

Just my $.02

~John

dude. colored became non-pc in the mid 1980's. since then the preferred nomenclature is african-american.
