Looking for help with chip design (ASMs)

I am finally getting around to designing my chips. I have been playing with the idea for years, and am finally ready to take the plunge.

My plan is to do a set of 1/4 pies with ASM. I am thinking 1/4 pie for all denominations with the 2 color spot options.

My labeling goal is simple, yet I am struggling to get there as I am not a designer. I want to have a 53o hold 'em hand on the chip, and denomination.

I would be willing to pay for any serious help, or in the event that someone wants to just throw in a design, if I use it, you get a sample set (of course).

My first efforts are shown below. The color combos are as planned, and there are 2 labels I have tried in place. I am not sure which color for the $100 chip I will use yet, the other one will be for a seventh denomination should the need ever arise.

Any comments on what works with ASM is appreciated. I am leaning towards a no mold option with these. If anyone has any insight as to what might work best with 1/4 pies, I'm all ears.

jldecarlo was working on a quarter pie ASM set. There's a thread about it http://www.chiptalk.net/forum/custom...ow-inlays.html you might want to read thru.

I do like your mockups with the black spots though, looking nice. I like the blue best for the 100, and how about a DG Peach/Arc Yellow for a 1000? Then the brown could be the 5000. Or maybe even the grey for 100 with the new ASM Charcoal color, and the blue could be a 1.

Re: Looking for help with chip design (ASMs)

I love the idea about the charcoal and gray for the 100 and the blue for the 1.

I am now thinking of actually going non-traditional colors. I wish they had more color choices at ASM. With the announcement of the PGI clay chips, I might wait to see about their pricing and edge spot options. I hate waiting, but I can't really afford to do big custom sets that frequently in my life.

And so I wait again...
