I think you are really right about that left, red part of the building - the perspective doesn't really work here. I'll have to change that..
As far as the "unrealistic" colors are concerned, I kinda like that. It has this comic-like look and I fear it could appear a bit boring and monotone, if I only used tanish and sandish colors here. My idea is to change the color of those parts that are radiant red right now according to the different denoms used. Let's see, how this looks.
So I'll spend another couple of hours and show you the results Quote:

2. You might want to try flattening out the ground line and using that to "halve" the chip and place then even out the text below it for ease of read. You'll need to change the perspective a little to do this. If you like it the way it is, then i would only change the very back left portion (the accentuated red arch is a little out of perspective.
3. How large did you make the center graphic? The lines look a little choppy.
Other than that, it has some serious potential! Nice job)

You may also want to try some of the built-in Photoshop filters. For example, the cutout filter gives a "cartoonish" look.

I use elements myself so I don't have that effect available to me. but i do have a cool effect called Poster Edges, which gave me the following effect after smudging the edges also.
Personally I think it would be awsome to use the denom sign for Imperial Credits instead of the dollar sign but thats just me. GL! |

thanks for that approach, it looks really nice! I tried something on this effect, too.. But for now I like the "mosaic" effect best - it makes the whole thing a bit more abstract and this is to what I've come so far [again, what do you all think? ]:
Besides, I love the Imperial Credit idea, I already thougt about this, but do you know where I find this symbol?! It looks a bit like a seven, right? |

I would start with a large image of one of the buildings, and then run the mosaic effect, and then shrink that image. It looks like you started with a small image and ran the effect, therefore leaving you with a few polygons that don't really resemble anything. |
