Help with labels for Faux Clays - 797 Club

Hello all,

With some more Fauxs on the way to make a cash set, I figure it's about time to start planning the labels that will go on them.
I'd really like a sort of old school (not the movie, though that would be an interesting set) illegal cardroom feel to them.
Theme: 797 Club
Don't really want my city name on them, but "private cardroom" and/or "est. 2001" could be in there. The denominations should be prominent. This is something I'd love to do a custom hotstamp for, but lack of hotstamping is one of the few weaknesses of Fauxs, and I dont have the cash for clays yet.

Here's the denom/chip breakdown, colours don't have to match chips necessarily.

.25 - white
$1 - blue
$5 - red
$20 - yellow

Thanks in advance for your help!

Mike

That was my first thought as well.
I wasn't picturing a black label when I thought of this but I do like the look.

Re: Help with labels for Faux Clays - 797 Club

I've been looking at these for the past couple days, and I love almost everything about them. Only thing...in the font for the denoms I'm not completely sold on how the "2" looks. Especially since it will be on both the .25 and the $20.
To me it's very "1920's illegal cardroom" when I think I'm going more for "1950's illegal cardroom"

Also - does anyone think Club 797 would be better than 797 Club? I've been waffling on that one too .

Thanks,

Mike

I agree. Something about the "2" just isn't working for me either.

Hey Mike,
I think "Club 797" would be better than "797 Club"...just my opinion. Cool designs either way!

I would say Club 797 sounds better or what about "The 797 Club"?
