[Midnight Rose]

As you can see in this gallery thread, I've finally obtained my holy grail, the 24 Barbary Coast rose roulettes of which I was aware. Unfortunately for me, Jim and the other learned folks of CC&GTCC informed me that my quest isn't over yet, there are others in the set to be had.

03/09/99 saw approvals for four differeent roulette sets, as follows:

In the gold colored rose (inlay) there were six colores.

In the red rose (inlay) there were seven colors

In the purple rose (inlay) there were seven colors

In the yellow rose (inlay) there were seven colors

Later on (12/04/03) there was another approval for six roulette chips, described as"

Roulette Rose Horizon Blu
Roulette Rose Indian Blue
Roulette Rose Canary Yellow
Roulette Rose Radiant Red
Roulette Rose Off White
Roulette Rose Purple

Looks like you have more hunting to do."

I felt really defeated about this at first, but Wedge put it into perspective for me over at HPT by telling me that I had "the set"; I'm just looking for the add-ons. So I'm cool with what I have; I'll frame these chips as-is, and will be happy to do so.

But, just like a woman, I want more. I want it all. I want those other rose roulettes. They have to be out there...right? Anybody? Bueller?

Remember, just because something is approved doesn't mean it makes it way to the tables.

Great point; that's why I'm no longer pouting about not having them all.

But I still want them all.

(BTW, thanks for spurring me on to getting the Haciendas; I have all 6 of the ones I was looking for).
