i have a €10 chip from the Aviation Club de Paris which i don't really need. So i thought maybe somebody wants to trade for some MGM $1 Chips (like this) or something else i might like

What kind of poker is available at this club? Stakes, etc?

NL $2-$2 and up.
The NL $10-$20 uses those tens also their $20-$40 limit.

Steal a couple of the plaques used for WPT poker tournaments while you are at it, I could use one of each denomination .In fact, steal one of ANY plaque you see there!

OK, you know how all you guys complain that your wives don't understand your chip addiction? Well, now I give you the view from the other side.

My boyfriend generally tolerates my chip obsession: he mostly doesn't complain that I spend too much money on chips and admires most of the chip pictures I show him. Since he loves airplanes, I showed him the picture of the beautiful Aviation club plaque above, expecting him to admire it. Nope.

I quote. Him: "Baby, you are all a bunch of crazy, crazy freaks." Me: "But I thought you would like that plaque." Him: "It looks like a piece of soap with an airplane on it."

Sigh....I guess he really doesn't understand after all.
