Well I know that I just skipped it. I figured I didn't need to post an image since everyone (for the most part) knows what a Soprano is.

I will try it again later with a specific chip and see what happens.

I entered a chip for the trade and it didn't take... no photos are showing up for me either.

the pic didn't take, or the entry itself failed? was there an error message?

ok I tried to add a entry with an imageshack image and the entry failed, but I know why.

The link was to many characters, I will need to set the database field as text so it can accept more characters.

I then added a test using the following pic link

http://www.ptatech.com/pics/1.jpg

and it worked you can go look at the trade list and see the image.

you have to enter the image link as above (like you are typing a url), so use the direct link to image given on an image shack upload.

I will change the database field when I get home tonight so it can accept a long entry.

I see that you added a pic.

Each time I have tried to add a trader available entry, I type the description ("Casino Windsor $1 polar bear (Paulson RHC)") and then paste the imageshack link and hit "Submit Query".

Each time, I get an error message that says the page cannot be displayed. FTR, the page it is trying to load is "http://www.ptatech.com/trades/addtrade.asp" and the complete error message is:

The page cannot be displayed
There is a problem with the page you are trying to reach and it cannot be displayed.

OK, Ill make the database change tonight, and try a imageshack link. I am pretty sure the problem is the image shack links contain a lot of characters, and I never reset the field from defualt length which is 50 I believe.

I made a post with your description and your link - 5 characters and it worked.

Also you can't use " in your entry it breaks the SQL statement.

I didn't use quotes... I just posted that in this link in quotes so you knew exactly what I was posting (sans the quotes... )

OK, I posted the description as Casino Windsor $1 polar bear (Paulson RHC) and it took fine. I removed 5 characters from the link and it took, so obviously the problem is the link field character limit. (I should have thought ahead about the size of links my bad.)
