Hi again,

I have now got the Wave mold chip and I am about to trade me the C mold chip. Left on my want list is the Chain and triangles molds.
I also have a need for the Matsui clay chip with the M mold if anyone have a spare.

About the only triangle mold chip from LV I know of is the Casa Vegas. There are probably others but dont know any.

About 2 years ago a few of these were found -- something like 50-75 or so. It sent the prices down the tubes (they were going for $400+ at the time with only 3-4 known). They've come down significantly to the $100 range. Hopefully they will come down in the future again.

Re: WISH List; "I'm Looking for Chips in all the Right Places"...

Hi Rose,
Please add me to the list.

I'm open to most anything but would put the following to the top of my list.

- Vegas (closed)
- Vegas (current) I do have quite a few now.
- Illegals
- Limited, Commemorative, Series or Set chips (i.e. Palms Royals, Hilton Star Trek, Performers, etc.)
- Snappers ($2.50 chips)

Ranman, you trade illegals? I have some extras from Detroit and Ohio... Lemme know if you have some extras to swap.

Wedge,
I wish I did. Right now I'm kind of stepping up and expanding my chip collecting horizons as it were and am looking to add them to my collection. I saw some in another collection (as well as on your site) and sort of got the bug.

Ranman

someone should set up a database, and create a webpage where people could enter the information on what chips they want to trade, are looking for, etc.

http://www.collectionlibrary.com

This page is hosted and created by Brian Watts, if you are a member of the CCGTCC he will work with you on the page and host it at no charge. There is a front-end application he gives you that allows you to create the entries. You can tag an entry as a "trade" or "want" item as well as display it for your personal collection. Then from the main screen there is a global trade/want list.

Another option, I've done some work for a friend and fellow chipper to make his trader page. I'll give anyone who wants the code (PHP) to do with what they want. Its fairly small and easy to configure.

http://www.poppel.com/terry/traders.php

There is a small configuration file that allows for setting a bunch of cosmetic stuff on the page (rows, columns, colors, graphics) and then a small text file containing one line for each entry. Took me a day or so to throw this together.

But if you just want something simple, then I might be able to help set something up.

it wouldn't be hard to set up a database and write a application to crete a traders forum, I could do it in a few days. Right now I have to much to do (job plus writing a .NET application on the side).

But in a few weeks I might have some spare time and whip something up.
