Re: Chip Trader's Wish List

I'd love to get some of those $20 cal bell club chips, or any other denomination of cal bells to go with all the $1 chips I already have. I'd also love to have a rack of $25 and $100 Le Cove's.

I was just about to go "huh?", but if you're talking about the ones here--

By the way, Jamby, I gave up on bear-themed chips; my husband went "huh?" when I told him I was collecting them for him. Luddite. So I switched to motorcycle-themed chips instead.

OP updated through post #13.

Re: Chip Trader's Wish List

Yeah, except for the David Brenner one.

The Westin Casuarina (used to be Maxim) is an extremely interesting and unusual casino property. It's got one craps table, no poker, one very small bar with a few cocktail tables surrounding it and a piano bar the last time I visited. A few slots, blackjack and roulette tables round out things in this very tiny casino that is just off the strip behind and about a block away from the Barbary Coast.

I'm told that it's the only Westin property in the USA that allows smoking and that might be changing soon as the Westin board of directors is apparently not happy about that aspect of things. It's really a charming casino and hotel and gives the feeling that you're not really that close the the craziness of the strip at all. In fact, the first thing you see when walking in the main casino doors is a great big floral display. Really unuusal. One of my favorites.

That was my first reaction when I saw the name.

Those are the ones, yep. Looking for any and all up to 5 bucks (just, please god, not the one with David Brenner).

Otherwise, my collection is still small enough for me to be an omnivore.

Re: Chip Trader's Wish List

Rose, this has got to be The Coolest (pun intended) Motorcycle theme chip I’ve ever seen. This was from the chip calendar by cottonchipper.
If I ever get my hands on some, I promise you will be the second person to get one.

I appreciate that, hon, but I can't see an image here. I bet it's sharp, though.

(Edit: RadixLecti, I've noted your aversion to Mr. Brenner in the OP...)
