OK just got knocked out of my first Chiptalk tourney..... have to post this beat cause its one of the worst ones ive suffered...

I have (Q,Q) and reraise vrecksler befor the flop (BTW vrecksler has (5,5))

Flop comes Q,5,X i smooth call his raise.. turn is a K i go all in he calls.....

and then there is the river a 5

He makes quad fives and my set of queens is beat.... Not sure if ill play next week yet may need a while to let that bad beat wear off..

That is one of the worst beats I have seen in a long time. Not much you can do, you played the hand correctly and got crapped on by the river. Better luck next time

And believe me, I felt horrible after it happened because it was such a brutal beat....I have never hit a one-outer before and it makes it worse when it happens to a rookie like me. I just thought that crisb might have been able to translate those chips into a top 3 finish whereas it is wasted on a newb, and when I suffered a couple beats later in the tourney NONE came close to the quad 5's.

BTW, I put in the converted hand to make it easier to follow and crisb you played it awesome with the check-call on the flop, no way did I think I was so far behind.
