Second, glad to know I played fairly well. I should have raised more after the flop, but I slowplayed and we all know what a double whammy that is with two cards to come.

Good question. I don't have the hand history, so I don't remember what my stack was. Prob not much. It was a tight table. I only bet 3x after the river b/c I was warry after his call on 4th.

Yeah, that's just live and learn time. If I'm not a big leader in this situation I checkraise allin on the flop (If I think he'll bet). If he checks behind I go broke on the turn, oh well. If I'm not 80% sure he will bet, I'll just go ahead and bet out 1/2-2/3 the pot on the flop.

We're getting to some pretty big blinds and I'm a little shortstacked. It will look like a bluff and with top two, he's gonna call. That's why I was wondering how his bet compared to past bets and especially to the size of this pot.

You did have the right conditions to slowplay on the flop... there's no way you could have known he made top two and had a redraw to a boat. Remember, in order for it to be correct to slowplay you must have two of the following:

1) have a hand that is the nuts or close to it (check)
2) be out of position (check)
3) not be afraid of redraws (we think "check" but we're wrong)

hell, you had all three!
