I would play more often if these tournaments paid more places like all of the other tournaments I've seen. Anyone agree or disagree?

If Pokerstars wont let us pay more places, we should go to a different site.

I played last night and we had 24 players, only paid 3! 24 should payout at least 4-5 places.

I think it should add a place for every 5 over 10 players. So 15-20 pays 4 places 21-25=5 places, etc.

2-4 2
5-27 3
28-45 5
46-100 9
101-200 18

9 = 3
18 = 4
27 = 5
etc, etc... the next full table should create a new payout spot. If we had 90 people, it would pay 12 spots. Seems rational. This is how thier SnG's are set up.

More and more places paid? Pretty soon the whole table will be paid.

How about paid 10% of total player after all this is TenPercenter's site.

I wonder if we sent a request to PokerStars support to set up a special private tournament where we can set up the payout structure rather than just accepting their pay structure - perhaps they can do that.

Then perhaps we can set up a tourney with a guaranteed top-5 payout:

1st - 40%
2nd - 30%
3rd - 15%
4th - 10%
5th - 5%

or something similar....

I agree, PS rocks. Since the poll is 50/50 I guess there's no real reason to change it... Perhaps a follow-up poll of "would you play less if we DID flatten the payout structure?"
