NCAA Hoops contest anyone?

I'm not a huge college basketball fan, but will wager on just about anything.

I see that the tourney selections are next weekend. Should we have a ChipTalk contest for chips? Maybe pick a team and see who goes deepest like we did for the heads-up tourney?

Cool, glad that you're interested Michael. I think that we probably need to wait to see who all is in it for sure before making picks though. Just trying to see if enough folks here are into participating at this stage.

What do you guys think about running it just like the HU tourney? Once the teams are announced folks can pick up to two horses each (I believe that was the limit - right Jojo?) by posting their pics and scans of the chips they're putting up. Chips need to be either current or obsolete casino variety.

Other ideas?

Jamby,what about the unfortunate few who love basketball(Memphis Tigers baby!) but have no chips to wager?Could or would someone donate a chip set collecting dust for a prize?You could charge $10 via Paypal to have your 1 team of choice that could be put in a pot that went to the winner-tiebreaker being for total points scored in the title game.Just a few ideas

Very interesting suggestion CJ. What do others think of this idea? I think it has merit. Perhaps it could be chips or cash???

It appears that their invite system has changed and I have to send an email to everyone that wants in. I thought in years past it didn't have to be that way, but I'm not sure.

Perhaps we can just wait for the announcement then of which teams are in and then post them here to be picked.

How many picks do folks think we should allow?
