Here we go everyone, HQ has given me the go ahead to try and get this puppy of the ground. He is sending me all the pictures he has via snail mail on a CD so I wont know what we need until I get that.

If his first post on the other thread is accurate we still need some peoples photos. If your name is on this list and you plan on not participating please let me know. I believe 2_hotty is out but I will wait for confirmation on that before we try and get an alternative in. If your name is on the list and you still havent sent your photos in please do so to my email address... eddie.resendez at gmail.

I need your photos ASAP. You have till the end of November to submit suitable photos, after that we will go to the alternates.

Your photos MUST be in the following formats...

1. Pic of the chips stacked in high detail
2. pic of the chips faces in high detail
3. Freestyle pic of your choice!

All pics must be submitted with SOLID BACKGROUNDS, dark backgrounds work better. Please supply multiple pics of each version for the art director to choose from, BW.

The Freestyle photo may be anything as long as the chips are main subject. Think chips stacks, buildings, walls, piles, towers ... etc. What will not work is a pic of your poker group sitting around a table playing a hand.

Some more information will be needed from the winners as well. Such as...

• Manufacture
• Name of the chips
• Designer of the Chips. (This is the name or company that did the design for you. If you did the proofs yourself then your name goes here. If you only collaborated, the person/company providing the art goes here.)
• Quantity made Breakdown would be nice too.

Great news! Thanks for picking this project up.

The CD I sent HQ has a word document with all the pertinent info described above as well as favorites among the photos sent marked for consideration. Let me know if you need anything else once you get the CDs.

Glad to see this has risen from the ashes. I'm sure that you're going to do this, but maybe we should start the calendar a few months late, say starting at June (to coincide with the start of the WSOP).

I also owe everyone an explanation. Here it is although it's not acceptable it is the truth.

When I started this project I had hoped to have gone into production by early December. When I went to contact everyone I was told that they would get art to me.

I did post a deadline for everyone to send in their chips in hopes to get them motivated, but I had no intention of leaving them out. I was reassured the art was on the way, but by that time it was late December and my and my wife's work schedule would not allow us to complete this project. Thats also when my office internet policy changed and we were being monitored.

For a long while I didn't sign on at home either as I used my work laptop for that a lot. My laptop had a reporting client and I didn't take it home much after that.

Anyway, I know that I let everyone down and I can't apologize enough. I tried to please everyone and only succeeded in irritating many of you. Well policy has reverted and we are permitted 'reasonable and responsible' use of the internet. Hopefully, I can make it up to those that I have upset.
