Re: june 24th: 50k horse wsop event. some sort of pick a winner tournament?

I couldn't participate in the put up a casino chip contest, because I don't own any casino chips (other than the one that I won in your contest). However I would be willing to put up $5 FTP money or something, but I would prefer to do it fantasy draft style and have several players with a shot to win it.

Only problem is that I'm in Europe from June 8th - June 17th so I would have to make my pick or do a draft after the 17th.

just my 1/50th of a $.

Oh, I guess that the correct answer to the question is 'Yes'.

BTW if anyone has $50k that they can 'lend' me, I'd quite like to play in that event. I'll pay the airfare (I'm not greedy).

I agree. Didn't he suffer a bad beat last year?????

Also, the play the final table with Doyle, Chip, Andy, and Phil was unbelievable....

Never thought that Phil would ever lay down A K preflop to a reraise.

I pick w16227, after he wins the $2500 HORSE I'm sure he will play the 50k and win that one too!

Re: june 24th: 50k horse wsop event. some sort of pick a winner tournament?

Chips are good.

How about multiple horses with a fantasy league type set up? Score points in the same format as the Weekly CT tourneys, using the same formula.

If I do get staked by CT, I'll withdraw my entry from this comp, since there might be a conflict of interest.

Thanks Rob, not sure what the breakdown is yet, but I'm hoping that you won't have to pay the whole 50k. I'll start packing.

Re: june 24th: 50k horse wsop event. some sort of pick a winner tournament?

I'd put up a chip or jeton for the collective prize pool. I like the idea of a points system personally, so it's judged on several picks and not just one educated guess.

Maybe pick 5 horses, so we can all pick Chip Reese, Ivey, and Cunningham, then the 4th and 5th picks will decide it. I'm kidding, but that's probably how most entries will end up.

Entries should be submitted by PM, so there's less piggy-backing.
