We have a winner, from thechipboard.com, and punk is gonna be
!
NOTE: This contest is being run concurrently* on thechipboard.com, but all important information is posted here.
While in Las Vegas from Christmas to New Year's Day, a friend was pleased to show me some photos taken in Las Vegas while attending a formal event just prior to Christmas.
This contest is based on identifying the location of the event, not the event. To start off with, I have included a snipet of one of three different photos.
I plan to post a new snipet each evening until the location is correctly and appropriately identified. For each day that passes, without a correct answer, I will add an additional prize.
* The contest will be open to all readers of The Chip Board and if the contest goes into a day two, I will also open it to the members of ChipTalk.net, as a concurrent contest.
The prize(s) offered will not, by design, have anything to do with the location. And yes, there is a catch.......
In an effort to avoid being bombarded by a flurry of guesses, a participant can only give one answer (guess) on a given day, and MUST then wait 24 hours before getting the chance to give another answer (guess). This 24 hour waiting period will be allowed to repeat.
So, be sure to answer wisely.
The first correct answer submitted will stand as the sole winner. I will be using the system clock here on ChipTalk.net to determine who answers first and I will be the sole individual to make that determination.
So, here is the first snipet clue:
And here is the first prize item:
Here are additional clues that have been given during the past 24-hours:
This place is unique and the answer MUST make it perfectly clear where it is by including what it is.
Saying this place is inside a casino is the same as saying it is in "Las Vegas". Your answer will not be correct because the answer is not specific enough.
For the monetary amount required, I do not consider it to be a sweet deal.
The snipet depicts vertical artwork, not horizontal.
If you would like to see the answers given thus far, that have all be wrong, here is a link to the contest post on thechipboard.com:

In a short while I will be posting the second snipet of a second photo (over on thechipboard.com), but I am posting it here first! Also, up until now, the contest has been for one chip, but as of this posting I am adding the second chip!
Here then is the current prize:
The River Cree poker room chip is a recently new release from the River Cree casino in Canada. Made by Paul-Son in the H&C mold, it has two blue "vee" inserts in a white chip. The other chip is a made by RTP (Gamblers General Store (GGS)) in brown, with 12 white inserts and 4 white dashes.
And here is the second snipet... This one is from the ceiling!
Good luck one and all!
