this is because I have the member list to ignore users with zero posts (and maybe some other parameter liked "hasn't logged in in "xx" days).

Okay, that makes sense. That's reasonable. But is there any other way for us to see how many members there are at any given time except for tidbits like Wedgerocks hint? That it was getting 'close' to 4500?

I got that off the main FORUM page, down near the bottom under WHAT'S GOING ON...

BTW, currently, it shows 4,519 members...

I know that when he & HPC added the extra prizes, Ten removed all previous predictions (see post #4) and started over so that everyone could re-think and post their answers carefully (in all fairness).

I removed everyone's guesses and then posted the rules. Then I explained that I did so. (see my post #4) All the guesses in this thread were made after I posted the new offer and rules. and I even made a point to tell everyone that they have the option to WAIT before guessing (see my post #5).

Ten, I can't seem to get the refer a friend link to work. I read the instructions but I don't understand. The e-mail link is broken, and I don't understand the "refer" button that is supposedly at the bottom of my posts - I don't see it. Am I doing something wrong? (There are a bunch of people I am going to invite that might actually come to the Vegas meetup in August!)

Your referral link is actually listed right there under the section heading "What are referrals?"
