Royal FLush and no-one cared

Amazing- 2nd hand of the tournament- young kid one table over from me gets a royal flush in spades on the turn-- not even applause-- no big hoopla-- I had to grab the announcer and tell him to tell the person to see us after the break for some special prizes.
Guy was all excited and nobody seemed to give it a 2nd glance.

besides, much better to get it 100 hands into the tournament where you're guaranteed action.

Now, if he busts two people with it on the second hand... that's noteworthy

I'm amazed. 4 of a kind or a straight flush usually gets quite a reaction and no one said anything about a royal of spades. You did a good thing stepping in and saying something Joe.

Well, I guess that depends was he playing Ts2d UTG or something respectable like QsJs OTB??

Alot of people who never palyer poker was at that table and the tournament- I think thats why.
Our rep lost with a full house to 4 aces--- the cards were hot all night- but since most were there for a night out- I guess the hands didnt mean anything to most players.
