WSOP - knocking out a pro

If you have never played in a WPT or WSOP tournament, I can tell you that second best moment (winning obviously is first) is knocking out a pro or two during the event. I am only in my second year of playing WPT and WSOP tournaments - I actually am a very successful cash player trying to learn the tournament game. Yes, I have knocked out some of the big ones - which is great - and I have been shown the door by even more.

Today - event #25, NLHE Shootout. I would have preferred to get knocked out by a pro but instead I have to hang my head and say I was shown the door by an actor; Jimmy Woods. Ouch.

Re: WSOP - knocking out a pro

At least James Woods has a half decent track record.

Better than getting knocked out by Mena Suvari or Ricki Lake

I'd pay money to get knocked out by Mena Suvari!

I noticed Moneymaker actually doing well lately, maybe he's been playing at Pokerstars.net and is picking up some pointers. How can you knock a WSOP champ though, sure he got lucky in several televised hands and hasn't shown up at mny final tables, but I just watched him in two...maybe he's coming around?
