ChipTalk Side Tourney for 7/03/06 - CANCELLED

HI All,

I cancelled the side tourney scheduled for Monday July 3, due to the holiday weekend. We will resume the side tourneys on July 10, with Limit Stud.

I am looking forward to the stud tournament: never played it in a tournament, but I actually sort of know how to play stud. Which means that I will no doubt be first or second out.

And for those who were/are afraid to play the big boys in these side tournaments (as I was): try it, you'll like it! Although the field is EVEN TOUGHER than in the Thursday night game, it is great to try a new game once in a while. And the experience is well worth the cost of the buy-in.

How do you do that? I would love to set up a tourney for me and some buddies, but don't know how.

I think you have to have a min of 3000 FPP on PokerStars, once you have that you need to email support and request them to add the ability to create tourneys to your account. Once that is done you click on 'requests' then 'private tournaments' then 'request tournament'. PokerStars does not allow you to setup private cash games. The smallest buyin is $10.
