After some discussion with the other people who regularly play in the thursday night side tourneys, we have decided to move the side tourney to monday nights at 9:15pm. We will rotate the game each week with the following games:

1. Limit Omaha
2. Limit Stud
3. Limit Omaha H/L
4. Limit Stud H/L
5. No Limit Holdem Heads-up Matches

I don't really play Omaha (going to try and learn one of these days), so I wasn't going to play tonight. But I had to post to say that it took me almost two days to click on this thread -- I didn't really notice the date and so assumed that it was either an old thread or a very early thread for this Thursday. This may be why the tournamant didn't go -- many people may not have noticed that the side tournament day was moved. May I suggest that if you want people besides the regulars to find out about the new Monday tournaments, post a thread with a title like "CT Side Tourneys Move to Mondays!!"

And I wonder why heads-up is not in the rotation -- I've been thinking it would be great to try one of those tournaments, but I'm not good at playing two tournaments at once, so couldn't do it when it was on Thursdays. But this dead money would be happy to join you boys and ilyu on a Monday for some heads-up practice (hoping I will have a chance to use it this quarter).

Professor Not Dan beat me to the punch. I might play some plain Stud but not Omaha. BUT Heads Up Hold 'Em would attract this dead money so y'all could have some friendly fishing.

I will play anything - but swapping HU-NLHE for limit Omaha would be a good idea. I think that we would get better participation.

Ok, I'll add HU NL HE to the roster. I left it out for 2 reasons,

1. I thought the side tourneys were going to be for games other than holdem.

2. I'm SICK of holdem!!!!!!!

Sorry about that jojo, Chris and I unregistered about 15min before, mostly at my request. There was only 4 of us in the tourney and playing short handed sucks. I probably won't play unless there are at least 6 people registered.

I have also received some PM's about the limit format for the Omaha games, people have requested to make them Pot Limit.

Please speakup and voice your opinion. The reason we went with limit is beacuse it was suggested and no one opposed...
