I don't know how much interest we could actually get, but wouldn't it be really cool if there was a chiptalk get-together in Las Vegas or Atlantic City? I thought about it the other nite-- have a brunch type deal with meet-and-greet, a tournament, and then a sort of afterparty-- and think it could be done if planned well in advance. It would be really cool to interact with some of you guys face-to-face, both at the bar and at the card table. Also, we could show off our custom chips, swap and trade them, and such. If this could be pulled off it could be a lot of fun. |

I'm keeping my money so I can buy more chips that I can keep instead of having you take them away from me at the tables.

i'm in. i'll take any excuse i can get to go to vegas! never been to AC, so that's a good reason to go. go figure, i live in pittsburgh (about a 6 hour drive from AC) and have never been there, yet i've been to vegas around 8 times in 4 1/2 years! |

I have a small vacation house in Vegas. There's a spare bedroom with a couple of beds, plus a sofabed in the living room. Otherwise, there's limited floorspace for sleeping bags. It's about 15 miles from the strip, though, so a car would probably be essential.

The table seats six (maybe eight, but we only have six chairs so far...)
That's not enough to accomodate a large gathering, but it is something to add to the mix.
It would be cool to organize a Las Vegas get-together around the time of a chip convention.

I'm going to Vegas with some buddies for my 40th coming up in May. May 18-21. If anyone from here wants to give me a shout, especially the tourney regualrs, maybe we can play some cards or grab a bite.
And Capt - nice to have a place in Vegas. My wife and I were going to do that about 6 years ago, before the market went nuts out there. Kicking myself for not doing that now.
