Yeah I heard about that a while ago on FCP. Should be a very interesting event. Hopefully they record it and broadcast it. I read somewhere that ESPN is going to focus solely on the main event, cutting out alot of the preliminary event coverage. This event should draw only the big name pros. Im glad they decided to listen to what the players wanted!

Some other WSOP info:

The Rio is hoping to have pre-registration starting in a couple of weeks. They think that the 2500 buy-in on July 7th will have over 2500 players. Yikes!!!

another new addition this year is the ability to choose your starting day for the main event as long as there are spots still open for that day...
