CT.net Poker Team! UPDATED december 7th

Currently, the plan is to have two strong captains that draft fair and balanced teams. we have enough players (and strong ones, too!) to have two powerhouses. the list is below. PM me or post to express interest.

what you need to do to play:

-register at pokerroom.
-get $50 in your account
-post below
-apply to the team, or ask for an invitation to do so
-don't bust out with a decent sized stack and less than TPTK

there's a tutorial about team play on the web site. i'm checking it out now, and trying to learn what i can. the team web page is: http://www.pokerroom.com/teams/teamI...p?iTeamID=5663 and the team name is...wait for it....chiptalk

let's see what we can get together, eh?

I could be interested in this as well. What kind of deposit are we talking about?

Re: Team Poker competition at Pokerroom.com

it looks to me like you can deposit as much or as little as you like. the team leader assigns players to different events. your buy-in and your payout are determined by the per centage of the overall team bankroll that you deposited.

so if i deposit 50 and seitz deposit 50, we split each other's buyins and payouts equally. if i deposit 100 and you deposit 50, i pay and cash 2/3 of all buyins and payouts.

it looks to me as if each member can deposit and withdraw cash as you wish, up to your share.

Re: Team Poker competition at Pokerroom.com

Jojo, what amount do you recommend as a deposit to the team account. I think the team account should have a minimum deposite required. I don't think we would want someone depositing $5 or $10.

$50, $100, $200, $500?

Chuck

Re: Team Poker competition at Pokerroom.com

how bout we say 50 for now?

we'll see how people like it for a couple of weeks, and then go from there.

Ok I'm funded. Sent some of my PokerStars money over to PokerRoom. Let's team it up.

Re: Team Poker competition at Pokerroom.com

After a short trip through Quicken I have realized I am under-funded. Damn holiday season. With the limited size of the teams, I'm sure you will have no problem filling the spots. If this takes off maybe a second team will form that I can jump into.

Re: CT.net Poker Team! Calling all card players...

I've already got an account there, and I kinda like the software to boot. I'll have to see if I have anything in my account there and make a deposit if necessary. How do I join the ct team?
