Still waiting to hear if my additional information sufficiently verifies that I am, in fact, a US resident.

Do you know if this is strictly a reload bonus or do new deposits also qualify?

not sure about that, but 1st time deposits automatically get a 20% bonus: https://www.pokerroom.com/main/page/...s/firstDeposit

through pokersourceonline you get a 40% 1st deposit bonus.

I did the PSO 40% deal. Up to $200 bonus. You have to earn 2000 points in 60 days to get the bonus. Seems a little steep to me... but I'll give it a try.

OK so let's get this rolling. Team Captains pick teams and let us know which team to send our Pokerroom application to. My $50 is burning a hole in the floor waiting to be played and I'd like to start playing.

What is the max team size Pokerroom allows? I think I've seen one with 10 members. Jojo is your existing team "chiptalk" already playing? Any difficulties with the Team interface and management yet?

gimme some cards!!

10 is the max. i haven't done anything with my team, b/c once we went over 10 it became clear we'd be splitting up.

it looks like space, VAroadstter and I will pick up teams on sunday night. we'll announce late sunday, and go from there.

Looks like SpeakEasy and I are the only ones having trouble with our U.S. residency. I e-mailed support and they said I needed to send them a copy of my ID. They want me to fax it to Sweden or send a .jpg file to them. I don't have access to a scanner, and I'm not really intent on sending a faxed copy of my driver's license to Sweden. If there is an option to transfer money to my account and someone is willing, I will transfer the same amount to you on your PokerStar's account. I'm not sure if that can even happen until I get verified. My account name is also fsu88 on Poker room. It may be next week until I can get a scanned image of my ID to their support. I tried to enter a new account, and it gave me the same crap that my town must not be in the US as I say it is. I want to join, depends on if you guys are willing to hold a spot open for me until I get all this straightend out.

if it's possible to do a player to player transfer, i'd take care of this for both you and speakeasy...

however, if a member that is more...liquid would be willing to step up, it'd be appreciated.

Just got off a live chat with a PokerRoom support rep. Unfortunately, they don't allow player to player money transfers. They do have a gift voucher option where you can essentially give someone an amount that you want them to deposit into their PokerRoom real money account. This option, though, also requires that PokerRoom recognizes your residency. In FSU88's case, PokerRoom doesn't. So, we're back to square one. The rep said the same thing to me that FSU88 was told--send a JPG image verifying residency.
