Or even out of four is better because there is no middle number so you can't sit on the fence. |

I got lucky catching that 4 when I took one card to make the boat against your set of Kings.

Of my past 7 sessions my cash game winnings are double my tourney winnings (I've been tracking myself to see how I'm doing overall) I am positive in cash in both areas, so I guess I haven't been doing that bad... I do want to stop being so hesitant about putting all my chips in to scare folks away.

Is there a category for reading people, or placing hands?

Chips: 6,831 | | | Re: Rate Your Poker Skills I would really like to see others rating of me since I'm not sure I can be honest with myself. I'm torn between thinking I'm damn good and that I totally suck. Mostly depends on what has happened recently and my overall mood.
All of my ratings are me comparing myself to my typical opponets not world class players. Aggressiveness: Hmm Aces HUD generally tells me I'm more aggressive than most or all of the table so I would have to say 9 or even more. Looseness: I always thought I played tight until I started using Poker Tracker and Aces HUD. I tend to get the best results when I play 35% - 40% or the hands. Lets say I'm 7 or 8 here. Tournaments Overall: hmmm 7 my results have been + but I think I have a long way to go. Tournament - early stages: I'm working on this. I try to stay out of the way unless I catch a real hand. 6.5 Tournament - late stages: If I make it here this is where I think I tend to shine. 8.5 Short-handed: I love it when things get short and the stacks are small compared to the stakes. This is my best area so lets say 9.5 Cash games: online 4 or 5 at a casino 8 or 9. I'm a winning player live and I have the records to back that up. My biggest problem is knowing I'm in a game that isn't good but staying anyhow rather than heading home. Steam control: I've read Zen and the Art of Poker. The leasons haven't taken well though. I'm working on it but I still tend to get pissed with things go bad. 5 or less Personal Chip Design: I like my chips, not really in the same league with some around here though. 6.5
Ok, now you guys give me some feedback and tell me where I'm all wet.

I'm convinced that you've made the final table a few times from sheer aggression alone. Don't believe we played in a cash game together yet. |

If I get it heads up and catch some cards I almost always win (doh!). If I get it heads up and neither of us catch cards I mostly win. If I get heads up and catch nothing and you catch a little things get hard but will occassionally gind you down and dodge big losses and still win.
