I would like to do a poker tournament this weekend in Vegas.

I see there are alot of weekly tournaments, is but no real description of size.

Can anyone recommend a poker tournament with more than one table and a buyin 100 or less. I will be at the Paris hotel and would prefer it to be within the local area.

You can take the tram to MGM and hit their tourney, oe go down to the Mandaley bay at 10:00 am for their $30 3 table tourney, jump to the Luxor for their $30 5 table tourney. I did not play at the MGM, but I think theirs is at 1:00pm, I think it's 6 tables.

I just got back today. Played a $1/$2 at Paris. They have 2 tournaments there daily (although I am not certain that this includes the weekends.....it might). One at 9:30 am for ~$60 and one at 7 pm for ~$100. Was told that the morning tourney has more players (the night tourney on Monday only had one table). Both are freezeout formats.

Also, I played in the 10 am $40 tourney at Aladdin (right next door) on Tuesday. There have 2 additional tourneys every day. Just stop by the poker room there, they have flyers on the wall you can pick up with all the info. The website listed in the post above is a great resource, I think it is allvegaspoker.com. Great reviews of the poker rooms at all the casinos. Do yourself a favor and try to play at the Bellagio. Really nice room, great atmosphere. Definitely better players there but fun nonetheless. Also, if you care, some combination of Phil Ivey, Chao Giang, Barry Greenstein, Chip Reese, etc were in there every night in the back private room. Was told it is a $2000/$4000 limit game.
