Chips: 919 | | | another weekly tourney? is anyone interested in playing in weekly a tourney on a night other than thursday? it probably won't be sponsored or anything (want to chime in on this, ten or mspatton or anyone?) and probably will not affect the leaderboard at all. it's just an excuse for another night of online poker w/ you guys. i also would be willing to set up tourney w/ games other than nlhe. any interest? | | Sponsored Links | |

Chips: 7,134 | | | Here's an idea Stank1000 and I tossed around a few months ago but never happened... you can have a 12-tournament league and play 2 tournaments of each type of game. That way people like me who suck at NL Hold'em can play games we're a little better at. Dunno how you would work points, etc... and I dunno what the championship game would be, but it's an idea.
I'm in btw... any night except friday, really. |

Chips: 4,244 | | | I like the idea of playing other poker games like 7 card stud or Omaha, and think it may be attractive to other players who was brought into the realm of gambling and poker from NLHE being televised.
Before I saw the WPT on the tele, I had never played cards (other than fish and war as a child) and never had any interest in it. Now that I have played HE for the past 10 months with friends and such, I am starting to get bored of it and have started to try the play money tables of different games.

I definitely hear you on that. As awesome as the endless stream of "Okay, so I have AQs in the big blind and the flop is 8 Q 4... no, no, wait it was 9 Q 4... I think... well, anyways..." stories are, I was brought up on 7 Card Stud. But it's hard to find those games any more unless you wanna play in the high-ante online games, so it'd be a nice change of pace to play some other games. Good luck getting anyone to play in a Stud tourney, though. Ah well. |

Chips: 5,814 | | | I'd be interested if it were something other than NLHE; I'd like PL Omaha or PL Omaha/8. Any day but Monday is fine with me. |

Chips: 13,505 | | | What about the heads-up tourney idea? That would probably be a huge change of pace for most. |
