I am only familiar with the New York Metro Chip Club...
They are inclusive of Southern Connecticut. Here is a link to their webpage: http://ccgtcc.com/chapters/nymetro/theclub.html
I recognize that they may be further away than what you desire, but they are a strong Club with quite a few members.
As collectors, we tend to not be strongly represented in States that do not permit gaming. Accordingly, there are relatively few members in Utah, Hawaii, Rhode Isalnd and Maine. But it sue is interesting to note that Maine is home to two major chip manufacturers!
I hope this helps.

Chips: 23 | | | Re: New England Area Chipper Events?? Thansk for the info, I tried to lok at the calander of events but the dates stop back in 2005 so I dunno if they are around anymore. What I really would love is a chip show where I can buy chips. I checked out the pics from a recent chip show in Vegas with all the dealers with 100's of chips for sale. It looked like heaven!! BUT I need to fly across the country for that...wife would shoot me. |

Chips: 1,113 | | | Re: New England Area Chipper Events?? shoe. thanks for coming to play last night. You played very well in my opinion, except for that one hand when you didn't check it down with that flush draw. Ironically when we were 4 handed at the end last night, Lou goes all in UTG, Derek folds, I call, Gerry(first game 3rd) calls. I'm holding 10 5 of diamonds. Flop comes 2 2 5. Gerry is short stacked with 3/4 of his chips already in, so instead of checking it down, I put him all in too, trying to get rid of both of them. I know Gerry wants to at least cash 3rd money and I don't want him doubling up and becoming a threat. He's bullshit that I didn't check it down and folds. I end up eliminating him on the next hand, I chop it with the kid, we had about the same stack. I thought I would have spun him heads up, but I know he's a poor struggling college kid, and it was late so it was all good. Thanks again, and thanks for bringing that awesome chip to see, Dan
oh yeah, almost forgot...Noelsarches played a total of 2 hands in the second tourney, but still manged to donk off all his chips, first with a pair of jacks and second a pair of sevens, when the kid hit a 14 outer to make a flush in the river and sent Noel packing.

Did you really men to post this here?
If not, LMK and I will edit/delete. If so, then maybe we need to talk about keeping on Subject.

J(GO)F | what is so off topic about this? We are in New England and we did have a game last night. That counts as a chipper event in my opinion, especially since we were using real The Casino Ritz chips and looking at other chips in our collections. |
