Mike Decker, of the Hard Rock, advises that the Hard Rock will be releasing 3 new chips on Friday, 2 May, 2008, at 10:00.

This thread addresses the $5 and $25 Cinco de Mayo commemoratives made by Paul-Son (GPI) in a quantity of 2,500 and 500, respectively. As is customary for the Hard Rock, those wanting factory-fresh chips should form a line prior to 9:00 am to receive line numbers at that time.

The line will reform at 10:00 and which time management will announce any limitations on quantities. Once you are through the line, you may re-enter at the back of the line. This is repeated until supplies are exhausted or no more chips are wanted.

The Hard Rock in Las Vegas is consistent in their chips being Paul-Son. It is the Seminole Hard Rocks that use Chipco ceramics. One of the reason is that both are separate business entities. When the Seminole Indians acquired the "Hard Rock" brand, it did not include the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, Las Vegas, NV.
