edit: BriaN Freiermuth advises: "Saw the artwork for new BIG chips at Bellagio tonight. A new $1000 and $5000 sports book and all new baccarat chips from $100 up to and including $100,000! Did not see anything for the regular house chips and still no new $10 and $20 in the poker room but I would imagine all the chips are destined to be replaced." J(GO)F

Hmm... if these were around when I started my "house mold" set (based around the Dunes chips), I might have picked up a couple racks of these... mostly because the Bellagio stands where the Dunes was... and the mold is nice... and the spot progression works (next to the Dunes and fractionals that are available)...
But I'm not convinced I like the yellow, metallic gold, and grey (?) spot colours. Need to see them in racks (or stacks of 20) to make a better judgment.
*EDIT* Looked at them again. Definitely wouldn't trade my Palms $1s for them, that's for sure.
I figure ApachePokerChips.com will be selling them (uncirculated) by the rack for $145. That's where I got most of my Palms (and I'm pretty sure my other Palms came from Apache too, a couple times removed). Keep an eye here: Actual Las Vegas Casino Chips, Clay Poker Chips, Poker Chips For Sale

They sell racks of the old ones, anyone think they would sell them for less now?
I'm not a fan of these. Wish the casino would hang on the the old ones and sell them from the cage at half price .
Wow, I must be dreaming so hard right now |

Wow, I must be dreaming so hard right now | You're definitely dreaming. If anything, prices on the old ones will go up, since they'll no longer be made. But the old Bellagio $1s at Apache are circulated, so he'll probably just keep them at their current price ($135) or auction them off on ebay (which he does rather frequently). Besides, the reason I chose not to get Bellagios was the colour transfer... would have wrecked all my other chips. Imagine dark blue all over my precious Dunes $5s... ... not to mention the hot-pink and peach (day-glo) fractionals... |

Hmmm... might need to get a few after all... Where's the "+ rep" button when somebody actually deserves it?! *EDIT* Do you have pics of them (autographed) posted? Care to share? (maybe in their own thread) |

Chips: 132 | | | Re: New Bellagio $1 Chip The small "one" and large "dollar" looks silly, IMO. And even with color transfer, the deep blue of the original rack is hard to beat. |
