I don't understand what everyone is complaining about, if it's just the inlay then fine, but the edgespots on both of these are pretty solid upgrades from the previous 1 and 5. |

- The house mold is now a nice part of the design
- The edgespots actually look nice, as opposed to the bleeding, boring white specks.
- The denoms are not so horsey anymore--they're more appropriately sized, more visually centered, and I prefer the new font to the old one. I also like the size relationship between number/dollar sign much better.
Cons
- The background "B" is a little busy and unnecessary. I can see why they would attempt to consolidate different chip lines, but this just doesn't quite work.
- Color-matching is gone. Makes them easier to produce, but less visually interesting. Maybe they should have just taken the type/denom elements, kept them on the white inlay (with gradient).
Sneh
- Did they need to add the denom spelled out? I wouldn't have bothered, but at least they made it look good.
- City tucked under the name--again, not my choice, but not badly done.
- Dark inlay--I generally like dark inlays, but this one being grey seems a little scared to commit. Meh.

Chips: 340 | | | Re: Bellagio, Las Vegas, NV - New rack (in phases) The inlay is just as important if not moreso than the edgespots. If the inlay sucks, the chip sucks. It is like looking at a painting and saying "The landscape is really beautiful but portrait looks like crap."
It is all a part of the whole. I am not saying my point of view is right, I just don't understand how one can look at a chip and say "I like it, but the inlay is ugly."

Chips: 190 | | | Re: Bellagio, Las Vegas, NV - New rack (in phases) Again, has ANYONE ACUTALLY SEEN, IN HAND, the new chips? Are the inlays yucky gray, or do they have a chocolate color to them. I still think the scans people are making of the new chips are fading out some of the color. |

Chips: 115 | | | Re: Bellagio, Las Vegas, NV - New rack (in phases) I've seen the new chip...BigKyle's picture is a little fade. The blue is darker (same color as the current MGM chip)....the yellow edge spot is bright....the grey center is the same color as the picture.

It's not as fugly as I thought it would be (or maybe I'm just used to seeing it right now), and I like the gray and metallic gold spots, but that inlay is just out-of-place.
Also, another interesting factoid: the color bled a bit on the paper the chip was in. |

Chips: 2,101 | | | Re: Bellagio, Las Vegas, NV - New rack (in phases) Is it confirmed that the bleeding issue is even a small factor in replacing their rack? The majority of the Bellagio rack is worn down to the core. I highly doubt color transfer was even an issue for them.
